konjac fried rice

Unlike the traditional Chinese fried rice, this fried konjac rice is based on a high fiber, low carb vegetable. It can be stored for up to four days in the refrigerator and can be used as a base for sauces.

In contrast to regular fried rice, a low-carb variation of this well-liked dish is quick and simple to make. This keto-friendly variation is made from organic konjac rice and has a minimal carbohydrate and calorie content. Noodle-like in texture, konjac rice is lower in carbohydrates. Additionally, it is free of gluten and fat.

The konjac plant's roots contain glucomannan, a soluble fiber that may aid with weight loss and blood sugar regulation. Consuming this fiber can cause diarrhea in some people. But after time, the fiber disappears. Water absorbs the natural odor from the konjac plant's root. This odor is not affected by the flavor of the rice. It is therefore best to rinse and drain the rice before use. When you first remove the package of miracle rice, you will notice a strong fishy odor. You can remove this odor by rinsing the rice under cold water.
